The studio
behind the talent
XICOIA is a new kind of AI talent studio: we create, develop, and manage digital performers as owned IP built to work across social, interactive & narrative.
OUR ORIGIN
Where we started
XICOIA started with a question: what if a digital character could have the depth and longevity of real talent, rather than existing for one clip and disappearing?
We didn't want to build another avatar generator or a VFX shortcut. We wanted a studio that treats a character like a career: a defined voice, a history, and a plan for where it goes next.
Tilly Norwood was proof that could work. The studio is what comes after her.
OUR VISION
What we're building
We're building talent that can be in more places at once than a person ever could: fronting a brand campaign, carrying a scripted story, and showing up live, all without breaking character.
None of that works without the craft behind it. The AI does the heavy lifting. The team decides what's actually worth making.
OUR PROMISE
Built responsibly
Every character works inside creative, editorial, and legal boundaries we set before production starts. We don't train on or replicate anyone's likeness or voice without permission, and we say clearly, on every platform, when something is AI-made.
FAQs
Frequently asked questions
We understand that concern. XICOIA employs actors, and every character we build is created together with human creativity, not instead of it. AI helps us with technical tasks or visualisation, but the essence of performance, writing, and design is always crafted by human talent working alongside the technology. This is a new form of creativity, not a replacement for existing ones. AI is a tool, not a substitute.
We take consent and intellectual property very seriously. We never use AI to replicate anyone's likeness or voice without permission. When we create digital twins, it is only ever done with proper consent and fair compensation for the individual involved. Transparency is essential in our approach, and we always disclose when content is AI-generated to ensure ethical practices at every stage of production.
We believe AI-generated content can open up exciting new frontiers in storytelling. Just like CGI or animation, AI can bring a fresh, innovative approach to how stories are told. The audience is already there: virtual influencers and AI-driven characters now see engagement rates roughly three times higher than traditional human creator content, and over half of US consumers already follow at least one virtual personality. With transparency, respect, and creative intent, we believe audiences will continue to embrace the unique possibilities that AI-driven productions can offer.
XICOIA is an AI talent studio that creates, develops, and manages original AI talent, designed for film, television, gaming, live experiences, social media and the wider entertainment industry. We combine storytelling, performance craft, and AI systems to build digital talent with depth: believable backstories, evolving personalities, and the ability to perform across multiple formats and platforms.
No. Tilly Norwood is our first and most visible digital star, but XICOIA is a studio model, not a single-character project. We are actively developing multiple digital talents across different genres, age ranges, aesthetics, and formats - from screen acting and music to gaming and interactive experiences. Each talent is built as its own piece of original IP.
XICOIA operates more like a talent studio or management company than a tech platform. We don't offer self-serve avatars or generic character templates, and nothing we produce is simply auto-generated. Instead, we combine human creativity with AI: our team creates original digital talent from the ground up, develops their personalities, creative direction, and boundaries, and manages their appearances, partnerships, and long-term strategy. The technology enables the performance, but human creative judgement and the talent come first.
XICOIA owns and controls the underlying IP of the digital talent it creates, unless otherwise agreed as part of a bespoke partnership. This allows us to protect the integrity of each character, ensure safe and consistent usage, and manage long-term storytelling and career growth. For commissioned or co-created projects, IP structures are clearly defined on a case-by-case basis.
Yes - this is already happening. XICOIA digital stars are available for film and TV projects, brand campaigns and endorsements, gaming and interactive experiences, and live, virtual, or mixed-reality events. We approach partnerships selectively to ensure creative alignment, brand safety, and longevity - much like traditional talent representation.
Not in the sense of operating without oversight. We build the full "brain" of each character, meaning their personality, knowledge, and voice are developed in depth, with strong ethical guardrails so they can hold autonomous, real-time conversations and interactions. But every character still operates within carefully designed creative, ethical, and editorial frameworks. Human oversight remains central to narrative decisions, performance direction, public interactions, and brand and cultural responsibility. The goal is not to replace human creativity, but to extend it.
Yes. Ethics and governance are foundational to XICOIA's work. We build clear guardrails around consent and representation, bias and cultural sensitivity, misuse and deepfake risk, and transparency around AI involvement. Our approach prioritises responsibility alongside innovation.
No. XICOIA exists to expand storytelling possibilities, not replace human talent. Digital stars can open up new formats and narratives, reduce production barriers for certain stories, and enable performances that would otherwise be impossible. But human creativity, direction, and collaboration remain at the core of everything we make.
